Who are we?
PURPLE MAGAZINE was born out of the need to show how creative the BTS' fandom is. We wanted to create a place where ARMY meet art - to inspire, unite and support one another! In our magazine you will find galleries, interviews, articles, and many more!
This project started in June 2020 with the first issue coming out on BTS' 7th anniversary. Created by 3 friends in a small flat in Poland we originally planned for 9 issues of this magazine - two dedicated to the whole group (the first and the last one), and 7 for each member that could portray their unique style and color.
With each issue, 50% of the net income is donated to a chosen cause - with so much happening in the world each issue's contribution is decided separately. So far we have made donations to UNICEF, #BlackLivesMatter, Lebanese Food Bank, Greenpeace, Save The Children and AAPI Community Fund. The remaining 50% of the net income splits into two: 35% goes towards compensating our contributors - artists and authors, with 15% being left for an investment to our team and magazine.
Our 8th issue dedicated to Taehyung is out now, which you can check out in our shop and on our SNS! According to our schedule, there is only one more issue for us to release, but we will soon hold a meeting regarding the future of PURPLE MAGAZINE.
